Jennifer Lynn
Stranko
December 7, 1980 – July 7, 2024
Jennifer Stranko, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the age of 43. Known for her vibrant personality and infectious laughter, Jennifer was truly the life of the party wherever she went.
Born in Superior, WI, Jennifer had a zest for life that touched everyone she met. Her passion for true crime TV shows and her knack for solving puzzles made Wheel of Fortune a favorite pastime. She was employed at the billing department at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center and was a longtime bartender at Schultz's Bar in Superior.
Jennifer cherished the outdoors and found solace in nature. Whether she was camping under the stars or gathered around a campfire sharing stories, her love for the serene beauty of the wilderness was evident. Riding on the back of a motorcycle gave her a sense of freedom and adventure, and she eagerly looked forward to watching dirt track races, cheering on her favorite racers with enthusiasm.
Beyond her hobbies, Jennifer was a kind and generous soul who brought joy to those around her. Her laughter was infectious, her smile, unforgettable. She was known as "Dora the Explorer" by her friends and would help anyone in need at the drop of a hat. Jennifer was Auntie to many people and enjoyed dog-sitting her four-legged nephews.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Stranko; her aunt, Glenna Pfefferle, and all her grandparents.
Survivors include her children, Brett and Brooklyn Wall, her father, Larry (Kelly) Stranko; her siblings Lori (Andy) Guentzel and Jeremy Stranko; her stepsiblings, Kami (Jordan) Rahar, Tony (Kayla) Rieck and Jeff (Denise) Rieck; special friends, Dan and Courtney O'Leary; her soul mate, Eric Peterson; nieces, Madison Guentzel, Lyla Stranko, and Everly Rahar; nephews, Brayden Guentzel, Ayden Stranko, Elliott Rahar, Miles and Mason Rieck. Jennifer is survived by her loving family and countless friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. May she rest in peace, forever riding under clear skies and camping under the stars.
