Jenny Petzold's Obituary
Jenny Petzold, 93, of Foxboro, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center, Superior.
She was born May 18, 1920 in Pella, Iowa, daughter of Cornelius and Gertrude (Kramer) Burger.
Jenny was a member of the Summit Garden Club and she enjoyed gardening, picking blueberries, feeding birds and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughter, Nancy Tobin; brothers, Joseph, Edward and Cornelius Burger; and sister, Gertrude Pearson.
Survivors include her sons, Chester (Sandy) Petzold, Superior, and George (Terry) Petzold, South Range; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Delia Weiss, Foxboro; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Summit Cemetery, Summit Township, with Carol Edwards officiating. Following the service, everyone is invited to the Summit Town Hall for a luncheon.
The Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.
