Jerry L. Abrahamson's Obituary
Jerry L. Abrahamson, 60, of Superior, passed peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012, surrounded by family at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.
He was born June 4, 1952 in Roseau, Minnesota, son of John and Lavina (Walker) Abrahamson.
Jerry was an avid trapper, fisherman and hunter. He loved to play cards and could never refuse a game of cribbage.
His early work history included truck driving for various trucking firms, and most recently he was the owner and operator of Jerry's Quality Tackle.
Preceding him in death were his parents; step-father, Marvin Bengston; and brother, Lee Abrahamson.
Survivors include his wife, Delores "Dee" Abrahamson; children, Bonnie Boyd, Bob (Gina) Wagner, Gail (Jeff) Rabold, Diana (John) Mundle, Debbie (Jerry) Spencer, Connie Harris, Kim Nelson, Michael (Lisa) Harris and Patrick Harris; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Dale and Pat.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until the 1:30 service, Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Thomas Cooper will officiate.
