Jerry Dean Johnson, 60, of Bruno, MN, formerly of Carlton, died Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Essentia Health- St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.

He was born in Superior on August 11, 1956, the son of Esther and Myron Johnson, Jr.

Jerry was a roadmaster and supervisor at BNSF Railroad.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Jerry Jr. and Jason; daughter, Brandi; several grandchildren; mother, Esther; brothers, Leonard and Dennis; sister, Karen; and several nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be on Tuesday, April 25 ^th ,  from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior. Reverend Mark A. Holmes, pastor of Darrow Road Wesleyan Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Summit Cemetery, at a later date.
