Joan A. Christianson, 63, of Superior, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her residence, following a five-year battle with cancer.

She was born August 12, 1957 in Hayward, WI, daughter of Jesse and Albina (Jerabek) Ross.

On November 25, 1978, in Hayward, WI, Joan Ross and Michael Christianson were united in marriage.

One of Joan's favorite activities was gardening.

Her work history included the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, where she worked as a receptionist and filing clerk for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and granddaughter, Lilly.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Nicole (Shyloh) Schuman, Superior; son, Jarrad Christianson, Superior; 6 grandchildren, Devin, Kylie, Danica, Elijah, Lacey and Ayden; great-granddaughter, Lilly; and brother, Jerry Ross, Hayward.

A celebration of Joan's life will be held at a later date.
