Joan A. Miller, 81, of Superior, died Monday, March 1, 2021 at Essentia-St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Joan was born in Duluth, MN on June 24, 1939 the daughter of Edwin and Ruby Williams.

She had worked as a cook for many places over the years. She enjoyed watching baseball and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; brother, Gary Williams; daughter-in-law, Linda Miller; and grandchildren, Marcus and Michael Tuura, and Andy Mikrot.

Joan is survived by her sons, Dean (Joy) Miller of Daytona Beach, FL, Mark Miller of Superior, and Kenneth (Becky) Miller of Lake Nebagamon; daughter, Terri (Richard) Mikrot of South Range; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Geraldine Harris, Joyce Yadon, Gene (Gloria) Williams, and Judy (Gary) Meller; and sister-in-law, Linda Williams.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 8 ^th from 11:00 a.m. until the Noon funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St. Chaplain Gary Meller will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hawthorne.

The family will also have a celebration of life for Joan this summer.
