Joan C. Sabin, 73, of Superior peacefully went home to heaven on November 4, 2019 at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Superior.

Joan was born in Norman Township, MN to Kenneth and Mavis (Schlueter) Grindeland on Aug. 25, 1946.

She had been a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, listening to country music, and drinking her Pepsi and Coffee. She loved the holidays and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mavis; and daughters, Joann Sabin and Baby Girl Sabin.

Joan is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Jean Kruse) Sabin of Superior and James (Desaray Olson) Sabin of Danbury, WI; grandchildren, Danny Brown, Julius Cortez, Kayla Sabin, Amber Olson, Kylie Williams, and Presten Williams; brothers, Ron (Kathy) Grindeland and Gary Grindeland; sisters, Gail (Keith) Kropp and Pam (Brad) Brewers; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on Saturday Nov. 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Tracy Lutheran Church, 64 Rowland St., Tracy, MN 56175. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Committal will be in Tracy City Cemetery following the service.

If desired, memorials may be made to the family.
