Joan Patricia Salveson, 88, of Solon Springs, WI, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN.

She was born on June 29, 1934, in Superior, WI to Charles and Virginia (Revoy) Hoffman.

Joan was a homemaker that devoted her life to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; her infant son, William H.; her infant daughter, Patricia A.; all her siblings, Leonard, Eileen, Richard, Cecelia, and Mary Jean.

She is survived by her sons, William R., Rick (Tracy), and Gary (Christine); her brother in-law, Jerry Kaluza; a special family friend, Sandy Tousignant; numerous nieces and nephews and her grand dogs, Jake, and Buddy.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Avenue, Superior, WI., with Pastor Sean Koos as officiant.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Solvay Hospice House in Joan's name, if so desired.
