JoAnn D. Erickson, 84, of Waskish, MN, died Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Superior Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Superior.

She was born July 26, 1933, in Duluth, daughter of Andrew and Hilda (Jorgensen) Ronding.

JoAnn was a member of the All-American Club, Duluth, and the Duluth Elks Lodge # 133.

JoAnn was an avid gardener, and loved crafting, fishing, quilting, waitressing and volunteering.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Bill; daughter, Tanya;  grandson, Wesley; 4 brothers, Kermit, Chet, Norman and Mike; and 2 sisters, Hazel and Erna.

Survivors include her loving husband of many years, William A. Erickson, Waskish, MN; daughter, Twila (Bob) Uotinen, South Range, WI; sons, Kevin Erickson and Glenn Erickson, both of Duluth; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Friday, January 26, 2018, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.

Entombment will be in Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery, Hermantown, followed by a luncheon at the All-American Club.
