Joanne “Jo” F. Levin, 90, of Superior, WI, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, with her family by her side.

Jo was born March 4, 1936 in Superior, WI, to Edwin and Faye (Saari) Levanpa.

Jo married the love of her life Myron “Bud” Levin on July 23, 1955, in Cloverland, WI. They made their home in Cloverland, where they owned Cloverland Garage and Transfer. Jo served as bookkeeper for the family business and created a warm, welcoming home for those she loved.

In retirement, Jo and Bud enjoyed their lake homes in Barnes and Hayward, where family and friends gathered for laughter, conversation, and card games.

Jo was a member of the Lions Club in Barnes, WI, and enjoyed pool and bowling in her younger years. Family was the center of her life, and she will be remembered for her feisty and sassy personality, generous heart, and deep love for those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron “Bud”, and her sons, Mike, Mark, and Dale.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Toni Flyen; her daughter-in-law, Dena Levin; her grandchildren, Lisa (John Cahill) Seacotte, Sherry (Paul) Khane, Andy (Heidi) Flyen, Jennifer (Eric) Bohrer and Jessica Levin; her step-grandchildren, Ryan Miller and Shawn (Jillian) Miller; her great-grandchildren, Chonesanh, Asia, Madysen, Jayda, Abby, Sophia, Grayson, Grant, and Mallory; and her step-great-grandchildren, Kaden, Logan, and Rocky.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to New Perspective and Essentia Hospice for the care and kindness shown to “Jo Jo” and her family.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N. 34th St., Superior, WI. A lunch will follow the Celebration of Life. A private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Downs Life Celebration Center.
