Joanne F. Moen's Obituary
Joanne F. Moen, "Gramma Jo", 67 of Foxboro, died Tuesday August 4, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
Joanne was born in Superior on Dec. 27, 1947 the daughter of Elizabeth and Clifford Ernst.
"Gramma Jo" enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family, camping with her family, playing cards, feeding and watching her wild animals, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Her family was always most important to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Meghan, and a sister Carol Oberbreckling.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert "Bob" Moen; three daughters, Maryjean Kresky of La Crosse, WI, Kathleen (Steven) Sickler of South Superior, and Laura (Rob) Hursh of Poplar; son-in-law, Ken Kresky of La Crosse; grandchildren, Anna, Amanda, Billy, Brianna, Lauren, and Brooke; brothers and sisters, Rosemary Matson, Clifford Lerand, Carla Bell, Sharon Howard, and Danny Bensoni; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, at St. Williams Catholic Church at 3095 E County Rd B, Foxboro, WI with Fr. Ronald Olson as celebrant. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rob Hursh, Billy Hursh, Steve Sickler, Ken Kresky, Len Moen and Tom Williams.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave., is assisting the family with arrangements.
