JoAnne Wicklund, 76, of Superior, WI, died Friday, February 7, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born November 19, 1948, in Superior to Frank and Rose Nault. JoAnne and her husband, John, owned and operated Wicklund Grocery for 11 years. Following his passing, she worked as a dietary aide/head cook at St. Francis in the Park, until her health no longer allowed it. JoAnne enjoyed reading, painting, and the company of her dog, Baxter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wicklund, Sr.; her parents; sisters, Eileen Gall and Patricia Bennett; and brother, Harry Ward.

JoAnne is survived by her sons, John (Colleen Tuura) Wicklund, Jr. of Superior, Jeff (Chris) Wicklund of Aurora, IL., bonus daughter, Val (Scott) Neupert of Oswego, IL., and former daughter-in-law, Kim Knase; grandchildren, Kaylie (John) Jesperson, Justin (Brooke) Knase, Jeremy (Beth) Knase, Mason Ford, Paige (Kyle) Freese, Krissa (Alec) Wicklund, Coral Anderson, Cassandra Wicklund, Kean Wicklund, Heather (Mark) Jebens, Brandon (Amber) Hammond, DJ (Brooke) Hammond; great grandchildren, Evan, Emma, Nolan, Ivy, Caleb, Kahlan, and Brianne; her brother, Richard 'Dick' Ward; brothers-in-law, Dan (Susan) Wicklund and Carl Wicklund;  sister-in-law, Kathy Wicklund; and many nieces and nephews

Visitation for JoAnne will begin 10:00 AM, Friday, February 14, 2025, at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, 1111 Belknap Street in Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci.
