Jody L. Poverud 49, of Superior died Sunday, June 26, 2011 in her residence.
She was born October 10, 1961 in Superior and was a lifelong resident. She had attended the Cooper School and Superior Senior High School.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Irving Poverud of Superior; her parents, Phyllis and Russell Erickson of Superior; a brother, Jeffrey Scott Erickson of Barnes Wis.; two grandchildren, Matthew J. Powers and Samantha A. Strong; and two nephews, Alex M. Erickson and Andy S. Erickson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Lynn Gerding and a brother, Russell Norman Erickson.
Private services with family and friends will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m at Greenwood Cemetery.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th and Ogden is assisting the family with arrangements.
