Jody J. Winkler, 56, of Solon Springs, WI, died Friday, August 12, 2016, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
He was born December 31, 1959, in Superior, son of George and Mildred (Tullberg) Winkler.
Jody worker as a conductor on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
Some of his interests included hunting, fishing and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and siblings, Georgianna Linder, Lynette Dougan, Daniel Winkler and Diane Winkler.
Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Stark, Superior, Summer Winkler, Hibbing, MN, and Brandy Winkler, Solon Springs, WI; sons, Danny Winkler, Superior, and Kaleb Winkler, Solon Springs, WI; granddaughter, Patriot Stark, Superior; sister, Carolyn (Paul) Morris, Carrollton, OH; and many nieces, nephews and aunts.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Town of Lakeside, WI.
Pallbearers will be Paul Morris, Ken Linder, Shaun Linder, Jesse Linder, Kaleb Winkler and Randy Rowe.
