John J. Dembroski, 82, lifelong resident of Superior, died Sunday June 22, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family.

John was born in Superior on January 27, 1943, the son of Charles and Theresa (Gella) Dembroski. He graduated from Superior Central High School with the class of 1961.

He worked as a Longshoremen for 33 years and was a member of the ILA Local #1037. He was also a proud member of the Thaddeus Kosciuszko Fraternal Aid Society, (Polish Club).

John enjoyed bike riding, watching the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Vikings, and spoiling his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Jr., and Richard "Beaner"; sister, Patricia Sislo; brother-in-law, Kenneth Flonnes; and great granddaughter, Evelyn.

John is survived by his children, Jeffrey Dembroski and Heather Dembroski both of Superior; grandchildren, Kandice, Jordan, Hailey, Hannah, Joshua, John, and Anna; great grandchildren, Hazel, Nataleah, Xavier, Cooper, Jaxon, Zara, and Ranger; brothers, James Dembroski of Superior, Robert (Diane) Dembroski of Superior, Ronald Dembroski of Superior, Donald (Linda) Dembroski of California; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Dembroski and Elizabeth Flonnes; brother-in-law, James Sislo; former spouse and friend, Tina Dembroski; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Following John's wishes, no public services will be held.
