John "Jack" E. Geegan, 82, of Superior, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at Superior Rehabilitation Center, Superior.

He was born July 15, 1936 in Superior, son of John F. and Alice (Tharge) Geegan.

Jack proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Superior Moose Club.

Some of his interests included cooking, writing poetry, and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers.

Jack was the founder and proprietor of Jack's Bar, Superior.

Preceding him in death were his parents; first wife, Mary; and second wife, Lillian.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl (Kevin) Pauna, Superior; son Ron (Karen) Geegan, Superior; step-children, Larry (Lorna) Martin, Superior, Brian (Jeanne) Martin, Florida, and Jana (John) Rochon, Superior; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, James (Fern) Geegan, Hermantown, MN.

Private funeral services were held Tuesday, April 16 ^th at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior, with Reverend Father Andrew Ricci officiating.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.

Military honors were accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.

A celebration of life will be held at Jack's Place, Tower Avenue and N. 20 ^th Street, Superior, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 ^th . The family invites everyone to attend.
