John I. Kidd, 75, of Superior, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born June 27, 1949, in Superior, son of Irving and Helen (Hoffer) Kidd.

On November 23, 1973, in Pine City, Minnesota, John Irving Kidd and Rose Marie Gamache were united in marriage.

John worked for many years for J & B Trucking until his retirement in 2021. He drove throughout the United States with most of his driving in the southern states.

Some of his interests included playing cribbage, working on cars and trucks, watching old movies on TV, and relaxing on his porch. John was a very sociable person and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Billy Kidd; and grandson, Nathan Smart.

Survivors include his wife of over 51 years, Rose; daughters, Theresa LeDoux, Tina Kidd, and Wendy Kidd; sons, John LeDoux and Bob Kidd; grandchildren, John LeDoux Jr., Samantha Schultz, Jessann Roberg, Nicole Kidd, Lydia LeDoux, Leland LaPrairie, and Jasmine Kidd; sisters, Betty, Helen, and Pat; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery, Solon Springs.  Reverend Father Andrew Ricci will officiate. A celebration of life will continue from 4:30-8:00 pm Friday, June 27, 2025 at Aces On 29th, 2827 Oakes Avenue, Superior, WI.
