John J. Miller

John J. Miller, Sr., 86, a lifelong resident of Superior, died on Friday, May 1, 2009 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
He was born on May 17, 1922 to Mina and Frank Miller and grew up in Billings Park. He was one of eight children.
He was in the United States Army during World War II and later worked for the Great Northern Pacific Railroad.
He is survived by his wife Elma Sandahl, Superior; three children, John (Pauline) Miller, Madison, WI, Cleo (Leo) Preuss, San Antonio, TX and Tom (Cheri) Miller, Charleston, IL and five granddaughters.
A private family memorial service will be held.
