Josephine C Miller's Obituary
Josephine C. Miller, 80, lifelong resident of Superior, died Thursday August 6, 2015 at Golden Living Center.
Josephine was born on Nov. 21, 1934 the daughter of Florence and Noble Jodell.
She had worked as a C.N.A. for local nursing homes. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael; sisters, Phyllis, Mary, Nancy, Annamae, Barb, and Judy; a brother, John; and her ex-husband, Frank H. Miller.
Josephine is survived by her children, William Miller, Debra Peterson, Todd Miller, Judy Johnson and Frank 'Chuck' Miller all of Superior; grandchildren, Jeff Shelafoe, Joseph Shelafoe, Jr., Jackie Shelafoe, Jason Miller, Josh Shelafoe, Justin Shelafoe, Jesse Shelafoe, Michael Drummond, Jodel Shelafoe, Loren Radtke, Jesse Covill, and Chantel Nichols; great-grandchildren, James, Winter, Oliver, Joseph III, Kalaya, Madison, Montania, Morgan, McKenna, Jaxon, Kyler, Shyanna, Kaden and two more on the way; a brother, Charles (Tammy) Jodell; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Tues. Aug. 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. Chaplain Ron Henely, Spiritual Care Coordinator of Essentia Health-St. Mary's will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Miller, Jeff, Joe Jr., & Josh Shelafoe, Jason Miller and Kevin Peterson
