Joyce L. Brown, 79, of Superior, died Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Encompass Healthcare Assisted Living.

Joyce was born in Superior on June 2, 1935 the daughter of Frances and Stanley Pinkoski.

She loved flowers and going to Florida staying in Pioneer Village in North Ft. Meyers and popping popcorn for Bingo while there. She enjoyed spending time at her lakefront property in Wascott with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Bartylla and father, Stanley Pinkoski; her husband, Albert and a daughter, Brenda Summerfield; granddaughter, Rita Summerfield and grandson, Dale "Duke" Summerfield; a brother, Stanley Pinkoski; son-in-law, Glen Vechell; and her special companion, Kayla.

Joyce is survived by her children, Belinda (Roger) Olson of Superior, Bonny Vechell of Ingleside, Texas and Albert (Wanda) Brown of Champlain, MN; son-in-law, Dale Summerfield of Superior; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol (Sean) McPartland of Hickory Hills, IL, a brother, John Pinkoski of Superior, and a sister-in-law, Beverly (James) Sackett of Danbury, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

Her memorial mass will be held on Friday Nov. 7, at 11a.m. at Holy Assumption Catholic Church. Fr. Andrew P. Ricci will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will be in the Wascott Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff at Encompass Health for their wonderful care and friendship shown both Joyce and her family.
