Joyce A. Lauer's Obituary
Joyce Anita Lauer, 96, of Superior, Wis., died Wed., May 27, 2015 in Golden Living Center, Superior.
She was born January 27, 1919 in Duluth, Minn. to Clara (Davis) and Arthur Webber. In 1944 she married Robert Peterson and they were parents of four children.
She loved country music and reading. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening and most especially liked to watch her daughters play softball.
Joyce had been a cook at the former Patzau School and later on was employed by Jeno's as an assembly line worker.
She is survived by a son, Lynn Peterson of Superior; two daughters, Maureen Danielson of Superior and Wendy Peterson of Wausau, Wis.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Edward Lauer; a son, Robert E. Peterson; two sisters, Norma and Marlene; and two brothers, Bruce and Ray.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Downs Funeral Home, Corner of 19th & Ogden Ave. is assisting the family with arrangements.
