Judi M. Blundell, 73, of Superior, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at her residence.
She was born September 5, 1943, in Superior, daughter of Max and Pearl (Altman) Luzaich.
Judi married Thomas L. Blundell on June 29, 1963, in Superior; they celebrated 53 years of marriage this past June.
For many years, Judi worked at the U.W.S. library and was an Avon representative.
Judi's family, friends and her love for the Lord were most important in her life. She always looked forward to visiting her son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons. They were the light of her life. Judi had a kind and gentle soul with a great love for all animals as well as many lasting friendships.
She very much enjoyed going to her weekly bible study group. Judi was apart of 2 prayer support groups and enjoyed sharing her faith. She knew that the trials and tribulations she faced in her life were gotten through in the guidance of God.
Judi enjoyed collecting angels, recipes, and listening to Christian music.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Max Luzaich; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Margaret Altman; paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Stoya Luzaich; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; son, Matthew (Marnie) Blundell, Vadnais Heights, MN; grandsons, Taylor Blundell, Cloquet, MN, and Luke Blundell, Vadnais Heights, MN; sister, Maxine Luzaich, Superior; brother, Michael (Dana) Luzaich, Superior; sister-in-law, Mary Luzaich, Superior; nieces, Michelle Luzaich, Mandy Luzaich, and Makayla (Phil) Stepp, all of Superior; nephews, Marc Luzaich and Michael Luzaich, both of Superior; great-niece, Gabrielle Martenson, Superior; great-nephews, Casey Luzaich, Maxton Luzaich, and Henry Stepp (all of Superior); special aunt, Marge Hartling, St. Paul; special uncle, Richard Altman, Trego; closest childhood friends, Pat Sandstrom, Superior, Ruth (Bob) Manor, South Range, and Ginny (Denny) Kline, Gordon; and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 4, from 10 until the 11 a.m. service at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church, with Reverend Mark Holmes officiating.
