Judith A. Dalberg, 79, of Foxboro, died peacefully Thursday, April 7, 2022, at her home.
She was born March 6, 1943, in Superior, daughter of Roy and Grace (Jacobson) Staupe.
Judy graduated from Superior Central High School. After HS she married Richard Berge and moved to the cities. She worked at Honeywell worked for 10yrs and then worked at Anoka County as Clerk of Court for 31yrs where she retired in 2002. She moved from Cedar, Minnesota back to the town of Summit to the house she grew up in.
Some of her interests in her younger years were gardening, bowling, dancing, horseshoes, boating & snowmobiling. Recently she has been knitting, playing cards, bingo, and various other games & puzzles while listening to her favorite country music songs. She loved all animals, especially cats and birds.
Judy was an incredible mom, sister, grandma & aunt with a loving, giving & generous heart who will be deeply missed. She always looked forward to spending time with family and friends. She loved when Bob, Kenny & the boys would stop by and keep her up all night laughing & singing. She especially enjoyed getting together for the 3pm meetings at the Dry Dock with her good friend Karen Nummi Nelson.
Preceding her in death were her parents, son-in-law, Dan Block & husband, Orval Dalberg in 2019.
Survivors include: Son, David (Jen) Berge, daughters, Darla (Gordy) Angell and Diane Block; step-daughters, Amy Seelig and Cindy Wigfield.
Grandchildren, Tyler Berge, Kaylie Koerner, Adam Block, Ryan Block, Isaac Angell, Olivia Angell, Jennifer McDermitt, Robert Wigfield & Samantha Wigfield; great-grandson, Cayden Koerner.
Brothers, Dale Staupe & Kenny (Mary) Staupe, Sister, Ruthie (Bacon) Reuille; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Summit Cemetery in Foxboro, WI.
The family extends a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Luke's.
