Herbranson
October 11, 1939 – April 16, 2021
Judith Ann Herbranson, 82, of Gordon, WI, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at Aspen Health and Rehab Center.
She was born in Hancock, MI on October 11, 1939 the daughter of George and Victoria 'Marion' (Gilboe) Harstad.
On September 14, 1963, she married Gordon J. Herbranson and they raised their two daughters in Superior, WI. Judith was a wonderful homemaker and a plaster craft shop owner for many years until they retired and settled in Gordon, WI.
Judith was active in the community as a member of the UCT, Moose Lodge, and VFW. She was a talented musician, crafter, and bowler.
She was preceded in death by her father, George; mother, Marion; husband, Gordon; and daughter, Brenda.
Judith is survived by her daughter, Debra (David) Crooker of Newport, WA, and son in law, Peter Bromen in Duluth; grandchildren Jeffrey and Nicolas Bromen and David Crooker Jr.; great-grandchildren, Noel, Elizabeth, Nathan, Niam and Emilia; niece and nephews, Kim Lander, Kevin Helquist and Teresa Tucker; and Kim's children, Ashley, Ryan and Matthew.
Services for Judith and Gordon, who died on November 29, 2020, will be held at Downs Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the service following at 11. Reverend Father James Tobolski will officiate.
Burial of both Judith and Gordon will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
