Julia Marie Lund, 33, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in Superior.

She was born on July 18, 1989, in Duluth to Cynthia Dobson and Kenneth Lund.

Julia graduated from East High School in 2007. She was employed at various bars and restaurants in the area, working as a cook or bartender.

Julia was the social butterfly of her family that always got her family together. She would light up a room when she walked in with her smile and personality.   Julia was smart, with a quick wit and was a talented artist that loved to paint.  She was beautiful inside and out.  Julia was very fashionable and loved to cut and fix the hair of her kids and her family.

She was passionate about spending time with her kids and playing with them.  Julia would go to a park and play with her kids well into the evening.  She always loved a long walk, hanging out while watching a movie or paddling in a kayak.

Julia was preceded in death by her grandma Pat Dobson; her uncles, Loony Lund, and Larry Lund; her cousins, Cody Lund, Gunner Lund and her cousin in-law, Jenna.

Survivors include her daughters, Sabrina Lund-Roesler and Jordyn Roesler; her father, Ken Lund; her mother Cindy Dobson (Dan); her brothers, Chris Lund (Emily), Eric Lund, Nick Dobson, and Mike Lund (Jessica); her sisters, Bonne Gilbertson, and Jessica (Alby) Goerdt; her grandmother, Janet Dahlberg; special friend, Suzanne Larsen; aunts, Shannon Lund and Shari (Todd) Steberg; and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 W. Superior Street, Duluth, MN.
