Julie Anne (Arneson) Hill, 56, of Blaine, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2nd, 2017.

Julie was born on July 22nd, 1960, to Leonard and Patricia Arneson. Julie had five siblings; Janice, Wendy, Mindy, Cindy and Jaime. She graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1978 and moved to the Twin Cities shortly thereafter. In 1991, Julie found the love of her life and began a relationship with her soon to be husband, Jeffrey Hill. Julie and Jeff married on September 23rd, 1995 and celebrated 25 loving years together. Along with being a loving wife, Julie was a wonderful mother to two children, Christopher and Cassandra, who later gave her seven grandchildren, whom she spoiled with love. Julie enjoyed spending her free time baking, gardening, scrapbooking, making beautiful cards and gorgeous quilts for family and friends. She also loved to travel, often going on fun excursions with her mother and sisters; or the "Flab 5" as they called themselves.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Arneson; sisters, Janice and Cindy; brother, James Arneson; and brothers-in-law, Marvin Hickok and Gary Trebil.

Julie is survived by her husband, Jeff; children, Christopher (Maia) Hofich, and Cassandra (Andrew) Caviness; grandchildren, Colin, Ethan, Lauryn, Natalie, Emilie, Jack, and Oliver; Mother, Patricia Arneson; sisters, Wendy Hickok and Mindy Trebil; sister in-laws, Mindy Arneson, Janice Hill and Michelle (Thomas) Gill.
Her memorial service will be held on Sat. Jan. 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St and Ogden Ave. Rev. Joel Certa-Werner of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am before the memorial service.
