Julie E. Hudacek following a valiant battle with cancer passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 with her family by her side.

She was born on March 3, 1934 in Cloquet Mn, to Herbert and Ragnhild "Rags" Anderson; the eldest of their three daughters. She grew up in Cloquet, MN and graduated from Cloquet High School.

Julie was united in marriage to Stephen T. "Steko" Hudacek in July, 1968. They lived in Superior WI, where they raised their family.

Julie cherished spending time with her loved ones. Her family, especially her children and grandchildren were a source of joy and pride whom meant the world to her. Julie always made everyone feel welcome, loved unconditionally and appreciated everyone for who they were. She was an exceptional woman who lived her life caring for others.

Julie is survived by her children, Gail (Tim Miller) Rosenbaum, Thomas (Betty Palikowski) Hudacek, Timothy Hudacek and Tammy Hudacek; her step-children, Stephen (Rusty) Hudacek and Cheryl (Nick) Danculovich; her grandchildren, Aaron and Cody Rosenbaum, Jameson and Samuel Hudacek, Jessica Larson, Jason Nelson, Jordan and Taylor Harker and Chas (Scott) Balut; her great grandchildren, Alex and Adam Balut and soon to be born great-grandson; her sisters Darlene Olson and Kathy (Richard) Zack; her brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Stephen T. Hudacek; her parents; brother - in law, Bucky Olson; and nephew, Mark Olson.

Funeral services will be held at Downs Funeral Home, 19th& Ogden, on Wednesday at 11:00 with Darrow Road Wesleyan Church lay minister James Mc Cusker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
