Justin A. Ward, 44, of Duluth, MN, died on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Lake Nebagamon, WI, unexpectedly.

Justin was born on February 13, 1980, in Duluth, MN, and is the son of Rita Ward and Martin Sipes.

On June 18, 2022, Justin and Samantha LePage were united in marriage at Amnicon Falls, WI where their family and friends celebrated a huge coming together. Two people who had faced so much, united together.

He worked as a blown film extrusion specialist at Charter NEX in Superior. He earned many of his friends while working here. He is blessed to have such amazing people in his corner.

Justin was passionate about being outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling, disk golf, playing corn hole, listening to music, particularly Eminem and so much old country, lifting weights was something that brought him and his boys together and arm wrestling! Don't forget the arm wrestling. Justin was a fan of the MN Vikings, and superheroes, especially Batman. He and Batman had never been seen in the same room, at the same time. Most important to him was family, his sons, and Samantha. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughters Aria and Skye, they were his world.

Justin is survived by his wife, Samantha Ward; sons, Spencer Ward, Daytain (Layla King) Ward, Graham Ward, and Tradel Nickelson; parents, Rita Ward and Martin Sipes; grandchildren, Aria, Skye, Mavrick, and Braelyn; brother, Jeremy (Rochelle) Sipes; and sister, Rachel Baker-Warner.

A Celebration of Justin's Life will be held on Saturday, May 18th 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Chub Lake Pavilion, 1929 Lakeview Drive, Carlton, MN.
