Obituary

Karen E. Cockerham, 69, of Foxboro, died Monday, February 19, 2018, at her residence.

She was born November 3, 1948, in Superior, daughter of Bruce and Beverly (Anderson) Conklin.

Karen was a graduate of Bayview High School in Milwaukee.

Some of her interests included making candy, especially rock candy and peanut brittle, crocheting, fishing, gardening, picking berries and cheering for the Packers and Brewers.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Porter Cockerham, Jr. in 2009; and brothers, Thomas Conklin and Bernard Conklin.

Survivors include her daughter, Keri (Terry) Ayers, Foxboro, WI; sons, William (Tara) Cockerham, Superior, and Porter Cockerham III, Foxboro, WI; grandchildren, Timmy Ayers, Brian Ayers, Hannah Cockerham and Taylor Cockerham; great-grandchildren, Owen Ayers and Amelia Ayers; brother, Bruce Conklin, Jr., Wisconsin; sisters, Merry Zeeman, Seymour, WI, Debbie (Jeff) Anderson, Appleton, WI, and Sherrie Brown, Hogansville, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018, and will resume at 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Monday, February 26, 2018, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 th Street, Superior.  Reverend Mark Holmes, pastor of Darrow Road Wesleyan Church, will officiate.
