Karen L. Olson, 80, of Superior, died Sunday January 15, 2023, at Aspen Health and Rehab.

Karen was born in Superior on Feb. 25, 1942, the daughter of Albin and Geneva (Rygg) Beckwell.

She had worked as a nurse for various Twin Ports companies. Karen enjoyed taking care of her pets and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maurice; and sisters, Patricia Schreyer, Ginger Robbins, and Donna Rygg.

Karen is survived by her brother, Maury (Mary Ward) Beckwell and nieces and nephew, Rebecca Redman, Robbie Robbins, Kim Schreyer and Denise Schreyer.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 23 ^rd from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St., with Rev. Michelle Rowell as officiant. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
