Karsyn E. Sandstrom, one year old daughter of Ruby Launderville and Matthew Sandstrom, both of Duluth, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Children's Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She was born August 14, 2011 in Minneapolis, and had lived her entire life in the hospital.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Bentley Sandstrom, Duluth; half-brother, Matthew Sandstrom, Jr., Duluth; paternal grandparents, Steve and Debbie Sandstrom, Duluth; maternal grandparents, Artie and Jane Androsky, Superior; maternal great-grandmother, Ruby Launderville, Superior; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Matthew Haslar will officiate.
