Katherine Anne Thompson, 62, of Superior, WI, died in her home on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Kathy was born on May 7, 1963, to Patricia (Trissler) and Stanley Thompson in Faribault, MN.

She had been employed at the Harbor House Crisis Shelters and most recently with NWCSA at the Solid Rock Safe Haven as a shelter manager.  Kathy was an animal lover and always had a cat in her home.  She even sponsored a wild cat through the Wildcat Sanctuary.

Kathy enjoyed keeping in touch with her on-line friends from across the pond. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, cats and enjoying sweets – even though she was not supposed to eat them much.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Thompson.

She is survived by her father, Stanley (Karen) Thompson; her sister, Barbara Thompson; her brother, Michael Thompson; her cat, "Spazzy"; and her many co-workers and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 10th from 1 -3 pm at the Lew Martin Senior Center, 1527 Tower Avenue, Superior WI.  A private burial will follow.
