Kathleen Ann Burbul, 72, of Kettle River, MN and formerly of Superior, WI, died Friday January 28, 2022, at Essentia Health – St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.

She was born January 15, 1950, in Duluth, daughter of Ellwood and Betty (Doyle) Raitt.

Some of Kathy's interests included her church, quilting, stained glass, agates, dogs, cats, emus, horses, goats, and her donkey, "Mellow". For many years Kathy and Joe raised and trained Coventry Wire Fox Terriers, including several champions and a Best in Show.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and stepson, Tony.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph F. Burbul, Jr.; daughters, Brenda (Mark) Tuttle, Eagle River, Alaska, and Lea (Erin) Donahue, Charlottesville, VA; stepdaughter, Christine (Stuart) Soland, Superior; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Thomas) Ogston, Marshalltown, Iowa; brothers, Michael (Colleen) Raitt, Kane, PA, and Daniel Raitt, Virginia, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at West Side Church, Kettle River, MN.

Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery, Hawthorne, WI, at a later date.
