Kathleen Ann Field, 78, of Superior, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota.

Kathleen was born on January 7, 1948, in Superior to Helen (Zinter) and Robert North.

She married Michael Field on November 25, 1967, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Superior.

Kathy worked for many years as a bookkeeper at St. Mary’s Superior, Superior Clinic, and the Edgewater motels in Duluth. She took time away from her career to raise her children before returning as the bookkeeper and co-owner of Field Insurance Agency LTD, where she worked until her retirement.

Kathy cherished her time with friends enjoying many activities throughout her life including golf, bowling, travel, playing cards, birthday club, and sharing meals together. She loved making handmade cards, crafting, gardening, baking, and making her mother’s potato salad for countless events.

Family was the center of Kathy's life. She cherished every family gathering and shared a particularly close bond with her niece, Helena, and her nephew, Anthony.

Kathy’s faith in God was strong. A lifelong member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kathy served the Lord through countless activities at church throughout her life. She loved every minute spent with her church family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Amy, and Angela Field; and her brothers, Robert and Ronald North.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; her son, Patrick Field; her sisters, Patricia (Michael) Miller and Eileen Condry; her sister in-law Pam (Pete) Raaflaub; her nieces and nephews: Michael (Sharon) North, Mark (Lori) North; Ann (Rich) Reckinger; Scott (Abby) Raaflaub, Stacy Raaflaub, Kari (Laura Marquardt) Raaflaub, Anthony (Jenna) Miller, Helena (Dominic) Frost; and many great-nieces and great-nephews: Kyle, Jake, Jessica, Morgan, Kelsey, Erika, Derrick, Bella, Eiley, Josh, Quinn, Carson, Cooper, Bobby, Jade, Jackson, Austin, and Wyatt.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 320 N. 28th Street, Superior, Wisconsin, with Pastor Kirk Schield officiating. Lunch will be served, followed by Inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery.
