Kay Marie Doolittle, 71, of Superior, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at her residence.
She was born March 2, 1939 in Superior, daughter of Elmer and Betty (Steele) Craft.
On November 25, 1960 at Trinity Methodist Church, Superior, Kay Marie Craft and Fredrick Earl Doolittle, Jr., were united in marriage.
Kay was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Superior, and she and Fred would often travel with the "Nomads", a Methodist mission group.
She also enjoyed music, golfing, crafting and recreational traveling. In addition, she was an active member of the "Purple Putter Red Hats".
Preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers, Raymond and Ronnie Craft.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Fred; sons, Jerry (Debbie) Doolittle, Lewiston, NY, and Donald (Lisa) Doolittle, Shakopee, MN; daughters, Lori (Doug) Jensen, East Bethel, MN, and Darcy (Jim) Dahlberg, South Range, WI; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Shaye, Kasey, Kristen and Kayla; great-grandson, Avery; brother, Dana (Linda) Craft, Spokane, WA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 until the 2 p.m. service, Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Faith United Methodist Church, Superior, with Reverend Joel Certa-Werner officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jim Dahlberg, Doug Jensen, Shaye Murrell, Kasey Spohn, Kristen Spohn and Jim McCusker.
Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.
