Kay L. Edwards, age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 27, 1954, Kay was a vibrant spirit known for her kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.

She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church in Duluth and a member of First Lutheran Church in Hayward, WI.

Kay enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where she touched the lives of many with her compassionate care. In her free time, she pursued a variety of hobbies, including needlepoint, golfing, fishing, and cross-country skiing. Kay also had a creative side, making personalized cards with stamps that brought joy to friends and family alike. She loved to travel, often seeking new adventures and experiences, and cherished her beautiful home on Lower Eau Claire Lake.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Marion (Rogers) and Clem Miller.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Rod; her brother, Daniel (Georgia) Miller; her lifelong friend, Susan Jessico; and her cherished nieces, Sally (Odin) Oase and Gina (Jeff) Kreager.

A visitation for Kay will be held from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2415 Ensign St., Duluth, MN, with Rev. Mark Raitz officiating.  Inurnment will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Duluth.

Kay will be dearly missed but will forever remain a cherished part of our lives.

Memorials are preferred and will be donated to the Stroke Association in memory of Kay.
