Kelly G. Thompson, 53, of Superior, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

Kelly was born in Superior on Sept. 20, 1966 the son of Lucille (Linde) and Glen Thompson. He most recently worked maintenance at McDonalds.

He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Enjoyed watching NASCAR and cartoons, drinking Coca-Cola, and eating M&Ms.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Becker.

Kelly is survived by his brothers, John Franks and Donald (Donna Jacobson) Becker, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Steve (Krista) Becker, Amber Moen, Delaine (Nicole) Goodell, Donald Becker, Jr., Brooke Becker, Bobbiejo Becker, and Lisa Becker; several great-nieces and nephews; and longtime partner, Mary Reid.

A Celebration of Kelly's life will be held on Monday, Jan. 6 ^th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St.
