Kevin M. Buchanan, 27, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Kevin was born November 19, 1998, to Amy (Sabyan) and Scott Buchanan in Duluth.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, riding dirt bike, playing basketball, and indulging in his love for food and music. Kevin had a very gentle nature and was always willing to go out of his way to help others. He loved hard but fought harder.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Scott Buchanan; his brother, Jesse Edwards; grandfathers, Kevin Buchanan, and Michael Sabyan.

He is survived by his mother, Amy Buchanan; his twin sister, Amber Buchanan, sister Malia Buchanan; brother, Zackary Buchanan; niece, Sophia Tollas; nephew, Krew Colborn; grandmothers, Karen Leitch and LaVonne Buchanan; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
