Kevin A. Ingles, 31, of Duluth, died Wednesday June 9, 2021 of drowning, trying to rescue others in the St. Louis River, Duluth.

He was born February 16, 1990 in Superior, son of Kimberly Ingles and Robert Belford.

Kevin worked as a self-employed laborer around the Twin Ports.

Some of his interests included music, fishing, writing poems, and drawing. Kevin loved driving, both real and RC cars.  His favorite color was pink, and he always enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Preceding him in death was his maternal grandfather, Richard Nelson and brother, Richard Charles Ingles.

Kevin is survived by his daughters Hannah, Madison, McKenna, and Kenzie; sons Elijah and Kalob; mother, Kimberly "Kim" Ingles Needham, and stepfather, Patrick Needham; father, Robert "Bud" Belford; brothers, Shanen (Denise Tollefson) Ingles, and Patrick Stark; maternal grandmother, Patricia Nelson; aunts, Laura (Eric) Frostman, and Peggy Needham; cousins, Briley Izzard and Krystal Lalonde; longtime girlfriend Megan Lonetto; best friends Kayla Main, Corvel, and Dustin; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St. in Superior.  There will be a Celebration of Life following the service at VIP in Superior.
