Kevin C. Little, 55, of South Range, Wis., died unexpectedly at his home on Sun., April 1, 2012.
He was born June 9, 1956, the 14th child of William and June (Almer) Little.
He was employed at the Douglas County Highway Dept., Maintenance Shop in Hawthorne, Wis.
Kevin served 16 years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, including a combat tour in Iraq 2003-2004 of which he was extremely proud.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; a son, Kevin, Jr.; sisters, Antoinnette and Kathleen; and brothers, Warren, Justin and Patrick.
Kevin is survived by 3 daughters, Christina Koshak, Elizabeth (C.J.) Opsahl and Katlin Little; his fiancée, Pam Caffrey; mother, June Little; sisters, Judy Hackett of Superior, Gail (Richard) Jackson of Agoura Hills, Calif., Linda Wilgren of Wayzata, Minn., Lutie Carter of Poplar, Wis., and Jessica Waskow of Cumberland, Wis.; brothers, William Little III of Poplar, Wis., Wesley (Bonnie) Little of Poplar, Wis., Byron (Teruko) Little of Maple, Wis., Milton (Victoria) Little of Tickfaw, Louisiana and
Garret (Liza) Little of Hawthorne, Wis.; grandsons, Alex and Luke Koshak; granddaughters, Olivia and Isabella Opsahl; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Deanna Orville of Brule, Wis. is the mother of Kevin's daughters.
Kevin loved music, hunting and spending time with his family. Kevin derived extreme pleasure from helping others.
His memberships included being a life member of the VFW Post No. 10197 Iron River, Wis. and the Bong-Hofstedt-Douglas County American Legion Post No. 409 Poplar, Wis.
Visitation will be at Mission Covenant Church, Poplar, Wis. on Sat., April 7th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. hour of service with burial at the Poplar Cemetery.
