Larry R. Conklin, 70, of Superior, died Sunday, February 27, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospice in Duluth.

He was born on August 25, 1951, in Duluth, the son of Ray and Jacqueline (Vondane) Conklin.

Larry married Irene Kronlund on April 17, 1971, in Hermantown, MN.

He worked as a truck driver for many years for Udeen Trucking and Kimmes.

Larry's interests included watching NASCAR, spending time at the family cabin, hunting, fishing, and enjoying a cold beer. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Linda Wagner.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; daughters, Tammy (Brian) Anderson, Elk River, MN, and Rhonda (Brad) Arnes, Foxboro, WI; grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Nicole Anderson, Nathan Anderson, and Neely Anderson; sister, Patricia (Mark) Dinda, Superior; many nieces and nephews; and special pet, Buddy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior, with Gary Banker officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.

Pallbearers will be Rhonda Arnes, Brad Arnes, Brandon Wright, Brian Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Gary Brown.
