Obituary

Larry D. Larson, 64, of Superior died Thursday, January 2, 2020 at his residence.

Larry was born in Duluth on June 5, 1955 the son of Bernice (Okstad) and Roy Larson.

He graduated from Proctor High School with the class of 1973. He had worked for Midwest Energy and retired from Genesis. Larry was very involved with the Challenge Center and a member of the Superior Trap Club.

Larry could design and fabricate anything using a variety of materials. He stopped climbing ladders for his wife. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved riding his trike he had built. His family is so proud of what he has accomplished in life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Daniel, Paul, and Dale.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois; son, Eric (Belinda) Larson of Mississippi; five grandchildren, Jessie, Makayla, Makenzie, Madison and Blue; special grandchildren, Kiana, Taylor, Carmen, and Ella; brothers and sisters, Keith (Alice) Larson of Hermantown, Becky (Brad) Bloom of Hermantown, Dean (Pam) Larson of Wrenshall, Lyle Larson of Esko, and Kris Parker (Tony Ciurleo) of Munger; sisters-in-law, Jan Larson, Armella Bijold, and Pat Larson; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday Jan. 9 th from 3:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. memorial service at United Presbyterian Church, 229 N 28 th St. Superior. Rev. Brett Foote will officiate. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Superior Trap Club or the Challenge Center.
