Larry Edward Lund Jr., 48, of Hibbing, MN, died Saturday, June 3, 2017, in Superior.

He was born in Duluth on June 21, 1968, the son of Larry Lund Sr. and Janet Dahlberg.

Larry graduated from Denfeld High School and has been a truck driver for 20 years.

On July 30, 1999, he and Shannon Power were united in marriage.

He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, camping, and swimming. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and loved his children very much.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Scott 'Looney' Lund; and nephews, Gunnar Lund and Cody Lund.

Larry is survived by his wife, Shannon; parents, Larry and Janet, children, Emily (Jeremy) Thompson, Jessica (Alby) Lund, Shayla Lund, Sarah Peterson, and Aaron Lund,  his extended children, Julia (Jimmy) Lund, Bonnie Gilbertson,  Ariah Lund, and Matt Lund, grandchildren, Faye, Sabrina, and Jordan 'Jo Jo'; siblings, Ken Lund, Bobby (Angelique) Lund, Todd Lund, Shari (Todd) Steberg, Leroy Strong, Kent (Katrina) Lund, and Dawnie (Anthony) Delaney; and many many more nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be at Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 W Superior St, Duluth, MN, on Saturday, June 10, from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service.  Pastor Dan Scally officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Emily Thompson, Christopher, Matthew, Michael, and Casey Lund, Luke and Jake Baum and Albert Goerdt.  Honorary pallbearers will be Eric and Aaron Lund.
