Larry D. Melloh, Sr., 80, of Superior went to his final resting place, Sunday December 4, 2022, at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Superior.

Larry was born in Menomonee, WI on Dec. 22, 1941, the son of Howard and Dorothy (Green) Melloh. He served his country honorably in the US Air Force.

He married Mildred 'Peewee' Hartshorn on Dec. 21, 1960, and they celebrated 60 years of marriage until her passing in 2021.

Larry enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed working on cars. He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, 'Peewee'; sister, Barbara Alseth; and niece, Karen Alseth.

Larry is survived by his children, Larry (Connie) Melloh, Jr. of Laona, WI, Richard (Fran) Melloh of Milwaukee, and Sherri Melloh of Superior; grandchildren, Kyle, Sylvia, Nicholas, Nick, Harry (Chris), and Jenny; 5 great-grandchildren; his in-laws, Dick Alseth, Ernest (Sandy) Hartshorn, Bud (Marge) Hartshorn, Carl Hartshorn, Marlene (Lee) Cooper, nephew, Tim Alseth; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16 ^th from 11:00 a.m. until the Noon funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St., with Gary Banker as officiant.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.
