Our Momma, Our Grandma, Our GGMa .

Lenore Kirkland born 29 January 1935 drifted off peacefully on 20 June 2026. Passing on her terms, she managed to communicate to all her children in the saintliest of ways.

Sprite, funny, sarcastic, loving, precious, and feisty to the very end, she made it clear she wanted to leave this earth on her own terms. Her loving and unwavering unselfishness shined through her passion of cross-stitching Christmas socks for her six children (Laura, Kay, Chris, Steve, Craig, and Celeste), nine grandchildren (Justin, Whitney, McKenzie, Amanda, Taylor, Noah, Brandon, Kapani, and Alex) and three great grandchildren (Lenore, Tarn, and Saran).

She leaves behind rooting in everybody the strength of prayer. Allow our family to express our eternal gratitude to the Duluth Minnesota Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center for its complete and utter compassion shown our mother till the very end.

May our Momma now rest in eternal peace with her husband, William B. Kirkland.

The family will remember her with a small quality of life celebration at a later date.

Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, place all of us into your hands at this difficult time. Help us to know that we are not alone. Please pray for us, asking God to send us comfort for our sorrows, bravery for our fears, and healing for our suffering.
