Leone C. Syring, 91, lifelong resident of Superior, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at her residence.

Leone was born in Superior the daughter of Carl and Clara (Neumann) Syring.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed making pasties and quilts. She had worked for Superior Lidgerwood Mundy.

Leone had a hand in raising her many nieces, nephews and enjoyed being around all the kids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence, Elroy 'Bud', Marshall, and Carl; and her sister, Doris Meinke.

Leone is survived by her sister, Janet Ohvall of Menomonie, WI and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 13, from 10:00 until the 11:00 funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gavin, Kaiden, and Braiden Sullivan, Holly Syring and Lee Williams.

Leone's family wishes to thank Terri Buck, Ashley Buck, Amanda Buck and Deb Winans for caring for Leone for the last several years.
