Most of his adult life he worked two 40 hour a week jobs. He volunteered and served in the Civil Defense as an Auxiliary Policeman and as a member of the Wisconsin National Guard. LeRoy attended AA meetings at "The Club" on 1609 John Avenue in Superior and St. Williams Catholic Church in Foxboro, WI regularly. He achieved and was to receive his 60 years of sobriety pin this year. LeRoy sponsored and helped hundreds to find help, hope, and overcome the disease of alcoholism.
