Leroy F. Mickle, Jr., 48, of Superior, died Monday, December 24, 2018 after a 3 year battle with cancer, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Leroy was born on May 13, 1970 the son of Leroy and Marylou Mickle, Sr.

He had worked at Superior Packaging Company for 15 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing with the boys, doing yard work or sitting around a campfire. He loved anything to do with animals, playing SingStar with his family, and was a collector of dragons.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his father, Leroy Sr. (Ann); siblings, Merilee Mickle of Oregon, Angela (John) Robinson of Michigan, Anthony (Candy) Mickle of Cloquet, and Alissa Mickle of Poplar; nieces and nephews, Nicole, Shandi (Marcos Sr.), Steven, Blake, Sebastian, John (Toni), Cody (Tessa), Kyle, and Logan; great nieces, Imogen, Emilia, Sophya, Leah, Davina and great-nephew Marcos Jr.; and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 5 from 11:00 a.m. until the noon funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the First Nine, his nieces and nephews.
