Linda E. Carter, 44, of Superior, died Friday, May 29, 2020 at Solvay Hospice House, Duluth.

She was born January 9, 1976 in Superior, daughter of Lester and Patricia (Haydon) Lawver.

Linda worked as a C.N.A. at Harmony House, Superior.

Some of her interests included attending concerts, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, cooking for her family, her profession of caring for people, and spending time with her grandson.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Douglas in 2003.

Survivors include her children, Starla (Christian Powers) Eagle, Andrea Carter, Mark Salinas,Jr.,  and Kurt Defoe, Jr.; grandson, King Powers; sister, Cari Tucci; fiancé, Kurt Defoe, Sr.; dog, Mila; and numerous friends.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. Funeral Mass, Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior.  Reverend Father Andrew Ricci will be the celebrant.
