Lois C. Dzuck, 92, of Superior, died Wednesday June 4, 2025, at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Lois was born in Superior on January 2, 1933, the daughter of Arthur and Anna (Gerding) LaRock. She married Melvin Dzuck on October 27, 1956, and they celebrated 52 years of marriage until his passing in 2008.

She began working as a nurse's aide at the St. Mary's Hospital on Clough Ave. and then spent many years at Superior Memorial Hospital.

Lois loved to dance, especially the polka. She enjoyed playing cards, planting and gardening, and was a very good cook. She could spend hours perusing and clipping recipes. A natural nurturer, she was a devoted and compassionate caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; and sisters, Lorraine (Don) Rosenmund and Dorothy (Harold) Lull.

Lois is survived by her son, Ken (Deb) Dzuck of Pullman, WA; and several nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:00, at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Superior with Fr. Andrew Ricci as officiant.

The family is grateful to Lynne, Bruce, and Jason Snyder, whom Lois considered her second family.  Their love and support throughout the years was a gift beyond measure.  The family also wishes to thank Pat and David Lull for their innumerable kindnesses, especially in recent years.  Finally, thanks to the staff of Villa Marina Health and Rehab Center for their professionalism, friendship, and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Assumption Catholic Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
